Who doesn’t like Doritos? I don’t think I ever met a man, nor do I think I want to, who doesn’t like’em. On my way up north last weekend I stopped at the gas station to grab the obligatory road snack; beef jerky, Cherry Coke, and some kind of chips. I love gas stations because they always have stuff you’ve never seen/had. I actually had seen the 3st Degree Doritos in the past, but hadn’t come across the 2nd Degree Burn Fiery Buffalo. Right up my alley!

Right off the bat I’m going to tell you I think these chips are awesome. I’ve always been amazed the way chip makers can make something taste EXACTLY like what it’s supposed to. Like Taco Doritos taste JUST like a Taco, etc etc. These Doritos are no exception. The fist flavor you get when you take a bit is the vinegar, which would be mimicking the vinegar taste of Buffalo Sauce. It almost has a Salt and Vinegar chip taste at first (which are also one of my favorite type of chips). Then some of the heat and somehow chicken flavor kicks in. Now the chicken flavor taste probably sounds weird just reading it but the actual taste is great. One thing with chips that claim to be hot is that they usually aren’t if you eat hot food often. When Flamin’ Hot Cheetos came out back in the day (which was a Wednesday BTW) those seemed really hot to me but over the year I’ve either gotten so used to them after the countless bags I’ve devoured or they’ve tamed the heat to appeal to the masses. These chips though, like the name suggests, actually have some heat. I’d say they are about the same as what I remember Flamin’ Hot Cheetos being like back in the day. They actually got my nose to run a little bit!

If you are a wing fan (which I’m sure you are if you are reading this), then these chips are definitely going to satisfy. Go grab a bag for a buck and enjoy!
